It's interesting isn't it how people always think the grass is greener on the other side? Right now because of social media, people are sitting scrolling through Facebook comparing their marriages and their lives. Divorce lawyers have known for quite a while how this trend fuels divorce petitions. We wrote about it earlier in the year: Social Media & Divorce - A Continuing Trend
Now divorce lawyers say the trend for so-called “Facebragging” – using social media to show off under the guise of "sharing" news – is even helping fuel marital breakups as more couples succumb to pressure to live up to unrealistic expectations. While the old maxim that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence has long been familiar to divorce lawyers, social media has helped take discontent to new levels, they believe.
