We've got a lot of changes and challenges facing us now as we make plans for our divorce from the EU. I asked one of Tilly Bailey & Irvine's partners, Brian Farrell what his thoughts were on how it would affect his area of law (Family Law) and its day to day consequences for our clients:
"It is now unlikely that there will be any significant changes to Family Law ( or indeed any other area of law) during the remaining term of this government whilst it deals with the impact and implications of this historic referendum."
In other words, we think the powers that be will have enough to contend with.
The campaign to leave the European Union has won the referendum. It means the UK is now committed to withdrawing from the group of 28 countries, a process that has come to be known as Brexit. What does this mean for the UK and EU?
